Sometimes a great villain can be a normal human being, like Shou Tucker from Fullmetal Alchemist while other times villains are god-like beings with natural powers like Neferpitou from HunterxHunter. Whatever the case may be, a great anime villain is equally as important as our heroes. Not only are villains a tool to help our protagonists grow stronger but also an essential source of tension and conflict in any show.
